On Tuesday July 7th, 2015, the Board of Egyptian Electricity Utility and Consumer Protection Regulatory Agency "EgyptEra" granted Benchmark SunEdison Solar Company (BSSCo), the SPV project owner company, the license to build, own and operate a 50 MW solar power plant under the Feed-in Tariff Program. The plant project is located in Kom Ombo, Aswan Governorate in Egypt.
